(Assistant) Manager - Data Scientist & Engineer
Your contribution to KPMG
Support clients across a wide range of industries in the identification of business challenges and in the design of AI solutions in the areas of Finance, Customer/Sales, Supply Chain Management, ESG and GRC:
- Contribute to the development of predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions by developing machine learning and mathematical optimization models
- Productize models with state-of-the-art ML-ops processes
- Build insights dashboards, visualizing data
- Present and convince technical and non-technical client and internal stakeholders
Support clients with design and implementation of on-premise, hybrid and cloud data platforms
Support the team in the internal KPMG and external sales process: deliver presentations, speak at conferences produce articles and blogs, engage with KPMG (lead/sales) partners and clients, contribute to the preparation of proposals
Contribute to the selection and hiring of data scientists and engineers as part of a rigorous assessment process
Support a team of data engineers and scientists in their career development
This is what makes you successful
Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Operations Research, Mathematics, Data Engineering or similar
Peer-reviewed publications are a bonus
Strong mathematics and statistics background
5-7 years working experience with:
- Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP or other AI domains
- Analytics programming languages, such as Python and SQL
Strong communication, presentation, consulting, networking, and team working skills
Fluent English and good German skills
